Counselling for Men

I am very proud to work with https://menscounsellingservice.com/ who specialise in finding appropriate counsellors for men in a simple and unfussy way. They ensure all their therapists have an understanding of the issues that can particularly affect men, but if you would rather work with a man, please feel free to use this link to find another of their associated therapists.

Why Counselling?

Many men find it harder to reach out for support, often feeling (and being told!) they should handle things alone.

Counselling offers a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what's really going on.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you come – that's what we're here to explore together.

What brings men to counselling?

Men come to therapy for all sorts of reasons: stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, anger or frustration, loss and grief, anxiety or low mood, life transitions (career changes, becoming a father, divorce), feeling stuck or disconnected, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. Whatever you're facing, it's worth talking about.

What to expect

Counselling isn't about being told what to do or being "fixed." It's a collaborative space where we work at your pace, focusing on what matters to you. Some men prefer practical strategies, others want to explore deeper feelings – there's no right way to do this. Sessions are confidential, and you're in control of what we discuss.

Taking the First Step

Reaching out can feel like the hardest part. You might be unsure whether counselling is "for you" or whether your problems are "serious enough." The truth is, you don't need to wait until things are in crisis. If something's weighing on you, that's reason enough to talk.

Drop me an email, and I'll arrange a time to chat. No expectations, no commitment, just see how it feels.
